Good lad.  Let's hear his account and reasons before we send him to the gallows, shall we?  Fair chance he had no idea it was "hallowed ground", imo.

Yes, mad dog, I would have said that but the forum luvvies would have protested that.  Surprised they've not been in already ... still in their fart sacks probably.

If you need a lag bad enough to do it in public you're probably not checking out nameplates on statues. A fool who has done the right thing.

don't know about being a plant ... certainly a turnip for desecrating the memorial ... the sad thing is some on here offering excuses for his behaviour ... lets hope some detention at HM's pleasure will help him repent at leisure

Has the person who thew stones and bottles at mounted police knocking one of the officers off their horse handed themselves in or is that asking too much?

This story isn't that deep, it just makes this person look stupid for not being careful in the middle of the day they are meant to be out there showing respect for symbols

I'll allow the one Tory MP who attending the scene the outrage but it all seems a bit phony from the rest of em

Any chance he bit the head off a bat afterwards?

https://loudwire.com/ozzy-osbourne-arrested-urinating-alamo-cenotaph-anniversary/

"Ozzy Osbourne didn’t wake up Feb. 19, 1982, and decide he was going to cause trouble that afternoon by pissing on a treasured national monument in San Antonio, Texas. He was simply going about his business, partying like a rock star, and after a few drinks too many he stumbled out in the street dressed in a dress owned by his future wife Sharon Osbourne (she had hidden his clothes to keep him from going out) and emptied his full bladder on the nearest statue he could find.

He had no idea he was standing at the city’s sacred 60-foot-high Cenotaph, located directly across from the Alamo building. Hell, he was barely in any condition to remember what city he was in, let alone where he was relieving himself. Contrary to popular belief, Ozzy didn’t technically pee on the Alamo building itself, he peed within the Alamo Plaza, and he chose a pretty bad place.

The Cenotaph was built in 1939 by the Texas Centennial Commission to honor the dead whose remains lay somewhere else and local officials didn’t take kindly to the public desecration by urination. The Alamo, after all, is the site of a famous battle that took place in 1836 during the state’s War of Independence and the historical landmark symbolizes Texan pride."

Agree with aaronh. The Guardian lot are blind to the savage violence perpetrated by blacks yesterday, but a whitey taking a plss against railings? Laugh

Did the disgraceful thugs that tore down that statue of our history in Bristol hand themselves in for the criminal damage they caused.

Their actions have cost the country millions and set back race relations for years.

I think the sad thing is the memorial is so small and discrete. Especially considering the size of some of these statues.

According to Wikipedia he has another memorial. A very small plaque under some bushes. Not a great tribute.

Without doubt wrong but to me it looked like he was pissing in the corner by the railings, not all over it, so might just have been desperate. Fair play for putting his hands up. Should be fined at worst imo and hopefully lesson learned.

If they locked up every man and woman who plssed on the street every weekend there'd be no cells left.

I like to think im rational and weigh each sitution up without political bias, but look you can't go on a protest to save statues, history etc and then piss on a memorial to a policeman cut down doing his job. Others have been jailed for urinating/defacing remembrance monuments.

The remarkable thing about the picture, considering how much he'd probably consumed, was that he was actually taking care not to pee on the memorial!

If only he hadn't been such an idle lard-arse, he could have taken just one further step to his right and avoided any bother altogether.

Having seen the picture what he did wasn't as bad as is made out,he pi$$ed at the side of the statue whilst shielding his helmet from public gaze very sensible.
Where is the nearest public toilet are they open? Where have the rest of the protesters/rioters been pi$$ing?

it's not normal to urinate in public in daylight full stop ... no need for an explanation ...doesn't matter who you support  ...p1ssing in the street like that has nowt to do with politics ,more to do with mental health i'd say

Agree with the above. If anything, we should commemorate his decency and build a statue of him pissing next to the plaque and each June 13th we can have a parade of neck-tattooed, gap toothed monobrows goose-stepping down the road to take turns to piss next to his statue.

As stated, he didn't pi$$ on it he pi$$ed to the side - in a corner.

If he had approached from the right hand side he probably didn't even see the tombstone.

He was wrong and it was a disgrace.

As were the thugs who attacked police, ripped down statues and wrote on Churchill.

There are bad people on all sides.

He desecrated the memorial to a real hero.

Happy to say it. Will you add your condemnation to the thugs that ripped down a statue and defaced Churchill?

You have gone beyond condemnation again.

It wasn't required.
