You worried about the virus spreading now?Or is it more that you're concerned about certain people being above the rules which everyone else is following?
Social distancing is either required or it is not required PP.
I doubt the virus knows what time of day it is or whether it is funeral as opposed to 'just' protest.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWTISBnFIOwAbsolutely absurd the police are allowing this. A handful of them trying to stop people climbing over barriers. It is almost like they want there to be confrontation today.
Agree with this to be fair.
Authorities are desperate for more confrontations to deflect attention from the death toll, 20% economic drop etc. Every day Johnson gets people to blame each other, then the closer he is to getting away with it.

Indeed. I can feel your anger. I can only assume you've created similar threads about young people 'just' going to the beach or 'just' driving to the other end of the country when told to stay at home.
Is the beach the same thing?
This is people from BLM and now football supporters types to get together in mass groups and confront the police.
Its madness.

The right to peaceful protest is great. If plod seeks to prevent yobs hijacking the peaceful protest then that's greatEverybody should be happy except the bot farms
Right to go to funerals and weddings is great also.

So you approve of these 'protests' by the football lads today despite the rules on social distancing and gatherings?
The statues are all secured so why are they there?

Yes, going to the beach is pretty much the same thing in terms of the virus. If people are allowed to frolic in the sea then - in a democratic country - they should be allowed to protest peacefully. The end.

Should they be allowed to ignore laws on gathering sizes and social distancing in order to 'protest' whilst others who ignore these laws are fined for doing for it?

If the laws aren't enforced at the beach or for virus-filled cars crossing the country then I see no reason why you should suddenly decide to enforce them now.
Otherwise it's one rule for one group and another for someone else, which obviously this government couldn't possibly condone.

Have you seen the beach pictures? Crowded beaches, lots of booze drunk, lots of kiss running around.
Are you being deliberately thick or have you just got your knickers in a twist about people not sharing your views on racism?

Ok so you approve of the protests... why should they stop at 5pm?
