Give me a decade and I'll prove you wrong. In the early days we had Tom Dunbar who had a brother that was a director of celtic. Don Kitchenbrand in the 50s stands out as does Laurie Blyth. Loads before and after. Yes Rangers were viewed as the Protestant team and didn't sign many catholics but celtic refused to have one as a director. Read about why their greatest ever manager was refused a board position. One of the Kellys apologised for this. Bit like the slavery argument, all in the past. |
