Thank you! I’m sure it’ll be fine. Either way we’ll get bad publicity. Important not to be goaded into trouble. If the Met are switched on the monuments will have barriers all around them. Veterans in uniform are likely to be there which will be a powerful sight.
I’m still staggered there’s been so little media and political outcry at the desecration of the Cenotaph and Churchill. May as well have Steptoe and Abbott in charge  |

Statues targeted by Black Lives Matter protestors will not be protected by the police if it means putting themselves or the public at risk, a police chief has said.
Essex Police Chief Constable Ben-Julian Harrington said it was up to operational commanders to make decisions on whether officers should step in to stop damage to monuments but said people's safety would be prioritised over property.
