He was working so hard he made himself open by going around shaking their hands and being proud of himself for doing that.

I think that is fact and not rewriting anything.

Not in a good place(UK), article in rte about the effects of brexit on top of covid, comparing it to the house is on fire, lets throw petrol on the garden shed.

I on't what the answer is but time to start looking for one.

Doesn't really matter. There's not an election until 2024. Not being political at all. I have no time for B Johnson.

What I would really like to see is a poll that is relevant of the moment. Like what people really think about the latest version of the cultural war we are currently witnessing.

Ah, what you mean to say is that there is not a General election before scheduled in 2024. There are plenty of political elections before then.

Looks likely,Pete Wishart(SNP) nailed it with his most recent comment, keep heaping the blame on the EU, "how dare they hold the goverment to the commitments they have already given in good faith".

All set up nicely,labour/tory,leave/remain,blm or not, set people against other people but they whoever they are will get shafted anyway, didn't have to be like this, but the whole thing was manufactured to a "war setting"

Yes, but polls if they are in anyway relevant, are only really so, at or around the election time, or concerning something of the moment, such as Covid and the BLM debate.

Yes, that's a good point. Polls are a snapshot in time. They are useful for following trends and gathering data regarding future voting intentions, but are of much more relevance the closer the poll is to the actual event. What is useful at the moment is seeing how various parts of the country are reacting to the current situation, with a view to voting intention. Areas like the North and Midlands are the ones where the tories are losing support fastest. Currently, if there were an election tomorrow, it is highly likely that the tories would lose nearly all the gains they made from Labour in those areas.

Neville Chamberlain tory government had a majority of 242 when he was forced out in 1940 ...it was tories who ousted him and it will have to be tories that oust Boris though not as many as for hapless Nev.

Yes, the tory party is ruthless in abandoning leaders who have become a liability in the eyes of the electorate.

The holy spirit is withdrawing.  I realized something was happening ten yrs ago. People started to lose their temper . I was threatened by a stranger for not having cigarettes. I live in a quiet, dead, town ,  nothing ever happened. Suddenly stabbings, incidents, it's a town that is geared for safe family living.  Every  time I go out to shops, fights.
You can blame Tories for stripping out the healthcare system, or other rational excuses. It's the end times. Jack kirbys madbomb is deployed. I want away from it. Greed and violence. Not interested in being tattooed and  being addicted to tech. Listening to rap. Or being germ phobic. Life has turned into a merde sandwich. It's not delicious and normal. It won't get better. I rightly want the rapture now. Not later.  one to beam up. Warp nine, get us away from the planet.

cummings just a political advisor like Alistair Campbell was for Blair
The tories used to get in a tizzy about Campbells role

As an advisor perhaps a PM might take their advice sometimes when devising strategyCrazy

only 120 tory MPs voted against may after 2 and a half years of utter ineptitude and making a total mess of a general election. by that reckoning boris is on very solid ground for a while yet

they won't even think about it until summer/autumn 2022 and that's only if by then they have been consistently well behind in the polls
