The same whoppers get triggered by it every time and give them acres of free publicity. Piece of piss.

Indeed.

Free publicity which informs consumers that a business has taken leave of its senses, and has become a national laughing-stock.

Free publicity which makes the business like cringeworthy and an embarrassment to be associated with.

Free publicity which crucially costs the virtue-signalling business big bucks and loses them once-loyal customers.

And all for the sake of trying to look 'woke'. LOLOL.

How Gillette must even now be scratching their little brains wondering why on earth they tried to be 'woke', with insane adverts that insulted their core customers, and resulted in a massive financial hit for P&G.

Let's all hope that the opportunity for Gillette (and other idiots) to call discerning lost customers "snowflakes" will make up for the financial damage.

Any business (and 'woke' cretins everywhere) aligning themselves to the 'Black Lives Matter' group is demonstrating pitiful judgement.

if anything Yorkshire tea probably caters more for the wokers more than the workers in the first place so doubt they will be alienating their core customers ...Gillete on the other hand would be a bad move

I might be wrong but hopping onto woke culture is the norm today and with the way things stand, such things are going to p1ss many off big time. But companies still do it. Must be getting something out of it.

Maybe the halal market is analogous. Companies strive to get the halal label on their products to include a small(for now) minority. Do you think they'd do it if the halal label reduced their revenues because the non halal folk got offended?

I wouldn't’ get offended but I wouldn’t buy halal if I had the choice
