Report politicspunter June 9, 2020 9:32 AM BST
what were they discussing?
Report elisjohn June 9, 2020 9:32 AM BST
farage didnt say it was wrong to topple the statue, but should be done in the correct way, not by mobs, and actually im a fan of piers.
Report elisjohn June 9, 2020 9:35 AM BST
god sake , sadiq khan saying that covid is racistCry
Report elisjohn June 9, 2020 9:40 AM BST
pp, it was about toppling statues , and it went to hitler, saddam etc, farage said it was ok to get rid of hitler as it was done democraticcally, saddam wasnt, as it was done by mobs , and this bristol shouldnt be done as it was by mob, farage said more or less all these would be ok to get rid of by democracy decisions.
Report 1st time poster June 9, 2020 9:58 AM BST
farage said BLM was like the Taliban,i,m sure black people in the army will be delighted ,they,ll have to have one eye on their white couterparts,
Report elisjohn June 9, 2020 10:02 AM BST
agree that was a silly comment, but i dont think  he meant it quite like that.
Report 1st time poster June 9, 2020 10:05 AM BST
farage also didn't say if he,d have vote to take hitler statue,s down, just that its what people wanted, give the impression he wouldnt
Report Sica Dan June 9, 2020 10:42 AM BST
Was there ever a statue of Hitler? I know busts  of him have been found.
Report aaronh June 9, 2020 10:44 AM BST
I think we can safely assume that were Farage from Bristol, he would have opposed the democratic means of bringing the statue down and insisted it should stay
Report PorcupineorPineapple June 9, 2020 10:44 AM BST
And I think we can guess which radio presenter has one on his mantelpiece.

Little Khan is only parroting what the MSM are saying - they're still pedalling the Covid is racist story.

They really are taking the public for absolute mugs.

Hopefully Farage will start yet another one issue party as he is a licence to print betting money.
Report dambuster June 9, 2020 11:41 AM BST
Farage is disliked because he tells it how it is, and the minority can't stand the truth, it doesn't fit there agenda.
Report politicspunter June 9, 2020 11:44 AM BST
Farage is the minority, always will be. That is why his parties have never won a seat in Parliament.

Any clear thinking and sensible person has decided in many Westminster elections over the years whether to support Farage or not.
Report trilby22 June 9, 2020 12:00 PM BST
clear thinking, sane, honest and sensible person, I should have said.
Report Platini June 9, 2020 12:04 PM BST
clear thinking has delivered its democratic verdict loud and clear

EU referendum - Brexit won
General Election - Get Brexit done message - won (by a landslide)

and it looks like we're heading towards a no-deal Brexit. These leftie riots just make it all the more certain Cool
Report politicspunter June 9, 2020 12:06 PM BST
Yep, and they decided to vote in Farage and his party in zero Westminster seats. That is 650 seats times about seven elections say, which I make 4550 seats at Westminster that Farage has lost and won zero.

Funnily enough, in the Monmouth by election last year, the Monster Raving Loony Party got more votes than UKIP.

would be rather ironic if his support of a few stone of cod ,was at the cost of a good deal for the city, although there,s still room under the bus along with the farmer,s and the DUP for the fishermen

The debate on GMT was about was it right that the mob decided to illegally rip down a grade 2 listed monument.

The two GMT presenters, a black lady and a history lady thought that it was fine a mob to do this.

Farage suggested it should be democratically decided rather than allowing lawless groups to pick and choose what happens without consulting anyone else.

Would have been interesting if Keir Starmer (Leader of the Labour Party) was on GMT rather than Farage.

Would Piers and co have attacked Starmer in the same way for suggesting the statue should be removed through democratic means?

'The Labour leader has said it was 'completely wrong' for Black Lives Matter protesters in Bristol to pull down a statue of a slave trader and dump it in the harbour, but said the monument should never have been there in the first place. Answering questions on LBC radio, Starmer said the statue of Edward Colston should have been 'brought down properly, with consent', and placed in a museum'

You can only speak when you have hold of the baton to stop that rancid **** and his sidekick jumping in when the guests are in mid sentence. I find it totally rude embarrassing although i must adit i am not a regular viewer so i may have got it wrong
