Most people generally dress subconsciously.

The 2 reasons I can think of off the top of my head is

A) to (unconsciously) seek validation from their peers.

B) To Join a group, to "fit in"
Take Tommy Hilfiger, SuperDry, are they really superior quality or style?
Not really, but their logos are prominent, a declaration of the group one aspires to be part of.


As for you wife choices, I'd take a strong guess that she is dressing as her peers do, who will likely be all female.
and she, like many, is generally unaware of what a pretty display does to the mind and hormones of a heterosexual man.

Not a sexless marriage but im sure it would be if she had her way. Anything i do wrong (and believe me...we all make mistakes) she uses as an excuse to punish me by witholding sex. most marriages end in divorce because familiarity breeds contempt, the second you get married the countdown to divorce begins, I don't believe as a species that we are designed to be with one person forever, when you said that you go to the toilet when she's in the shower, that told me your candle has already burnt out. I detect sarcasm there but it will save you money, however if you're already married, best advice is to set whatever the opposite is to a honey trap, hire someone to hit on her if the street, secret recording, and you have saved yourself thousands in Divorce lawyer fees and settlement fees.

I suppose a legally binding pre nuptial agreement can negate such monetary issues, however I don't think they are in the UK at the moment, if they were, you can guarantee 2 things, one they'll be a lot less marriages to begin with because the women will either not agree to it or feel insulted by it, and two if marriage still did go ahead they'd be a lot less divorces as you know straight away they are not marrying you for money so either the marriage is likely to last longer because of that or the motivation for divorce will be much lower, subsequently all this putting a lot of divorce lawyers out of business whilst freeing up court time. The Pre Nup would have to be bullet proof, no special circumstances.

not really about positivity or negativity, nearly half marriages end in divorce, 2017 over 200,000 people got divorced, it's a concept that is of a by gone era, getting married, man no longer owns women, which was the premise of a marriage in it's original form. I think most people may last longer together if they did not feel bound together.
