As somebody pointed out wait until these professional complainers , apologists , self loathing generation are in there 50's and 60's and running the country ....with their love of democracy and free speech.

No matter how hard they try they couldn't do a worse job than the the nasties have done for the last 10 years or so.

Nasties should start getting worried. Covid been handled incompetently, Doris has lost support, lockdown in chaos, no EU deal. Ffs what a load of incompetent tw@ts.

Covid been handled incompetently Well not much point in that discussion now is there; after what your comrades did today, all that good work & house arrest for nothing. The voters will remember!!!

Covid handled incompetently. Government (if that's what you can call it) didn't foresee any problems coming not even from this protest. Reactive not proactive and tw@ts.

you did 1TP, in fact you queried how stall handlers could socially distance putting horses in stalls Laugh

never mind 150,00 on streets of  UK

When: 06 Jun 20 20:19
I'd rather have 150,00 on the streets now than when Cheltenham was going on. I'd rather not have either though.

Most of the VE Day street parties were small scale & tried to involve social distancing. Tended to be people outside their front doors on separate tables.

As for Barnard Castle - in my opinion & that of local police it was wrong, but only involved his household. It wasn't thousands of people together.
How many people were at risk of infection because Cummings broke the rules? Zero?

I agree if we had a time machine we would cancel Cheltenham & Liverpool V Madrid game (or at least behind closed doors)

However we can't change the past only the future. We could prevent protests tomorrow, Monday ... Next weekend if we want. We can't prevent people spreading the virus at Cheltenham three months ago.

If I had the inclination I'd start at the top and destroy all of the arguments raised against anything I've said. I will  start with the flashgorden1 OP's "Thousands of people protesting but millions are not."

Logically this means that if the number of people protesting is less than the number of people not protesting then the protest means nothing. What a piece of twisted logic.

.2 of a percent of people are protesting the other 99.8 are not.

When does a protest become a protest?
By:
Charlie
When: 06 Jun 20 20:33
I've heard of someone called Robinson who protests, just one person. And fck me people say he's protesting against things. Tell him to fck off as that's not a protest.
