Used to enjoy a Fuse bar.
Not a sweet or choc bar but used to like Lincoln biscuits, now only made in Ireland apparently. |
|
By:
Mixed up Frys five centres with fiveboys, another choc bar.... The other bar might be a crispy caraMel, like a toffee crisp, dark cchocolate instead of milk and a dripped line of milk choc over the top?
Had a search on ggoogle. Treets, old jamaica, spira, fuse, log 3, secret, Tiffin, loot, super mousse, cabana, drifter, golden crisp, rally, rumba, golden cup, bliss, applejack, medley, coffee crisp,, applause, space dust. We still have mars bars? Lowest common denominator. Fuse bars were really good? Better than toffee crisps, makes no sense why so many bars disappeared. |

both still going elis. You can also get the walnut whips without the walnut now! I think that's taking the "may contain nuts" warning a step too far. No matter. Am I correct in thinking that there used to be a coconut Revel lurking in the 'King of All Sweets' range? And why hasn't anyone posted an image yet of some European confectionary called Shitto or Vagmuff as is usually de rigueur round here? Oh, and Lanky Larry. |

Fullers (from Kilmarnock) mad a truffle bar which came in two bars like a bounty in a turkish delight coloured wrapper. It was the best chocolate bar ever made! They also did other bars including marzipan and coconut. It was always the truffle bar that ran out in the few shops that stocked them. They went out of business in the early 1970's. Anyone else remember these bars?

Neapolitans (chocolate) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to navigationJump to search Neapolitans are individually wrapped square/rectangular pieces of chocolate in assorted flavours. They have been produced in several different flavours and by numerous confectionery companies. They have been served by hotels and coffee shops (often with a cup of coffee) and when used for promotional purposes may feature packaging with personalised branding. Terry’s Neapolitans Terry's of York, England, first produced Neapolitans in 1899.[1] The company was sold to Kraft Foods in 1993 and Terry's Neapolitans were discontinued in 2005 when their York factory was closed.[2] The flavours were:[3] Milk Chocolate (Blue) Plain Chocolate (Red) Mocha (coffee flavoured plain chocolate) (Brown) Cafe Au Lait (coffee flavoured milk chocolate) (Turquoise) Orange Milk Chocolate (Orange) Orange Plain Chocolate (Pink) Terry's also produced a selection of mint-flavoured neapolitans and cream-filled neapolitans. They would occasionally be sold in alternative packaging such as jars.[citation needed] Similar boxed mixed assortments currently in production include Marks and Spencer's Neapolitans and Lindt Napolitains.
