With regards to metres and social distancing?  Would be a big help to literally small businesses and save a lot of them going to the wall including cherished boozers.
Isn't 1 metre the WHO recommendation anyway that's being followed by some countries?

Goes without saying if one can distance 2 or more metres then great.

I think this has been superseded by research which suggests that reducing from two metres to one raises the chance of infection exponentially.

Is that what you really, really want?

2 must become 1 at some point soon,

But people should remain aware that 2 will still be safer
If it can be achieved.

It has to happen and the sooner the better. Even 1m can only be continued in the relative short term. At some point soon people must get back to their normal lives.

Thought this was referring to the Govt. Covid Testing figures.

One patient gets a couple of nasal scrapes and saliva swabs.

That is 4 tests added to the daily total.

When we are back watching sport or concerts then
1 metre won't be possible, but we must at some point
soon get back there.

Whilst doing stuff like washing hands and wearing masks
whilst some risk remains.

Hopefully washing hands never goes away... ExcitedHappy

Some of us washed our hands before this virus even existed.
Report ----you-have-to-laugh--- May 27, 2020 3:45 PM BST
Indeed... But for most maybe not quite as often and so well.
Report HGS May 27, 2020 3:47 PM BST
Indeed Dotch, but many didn't as people know. Let's hope they do now.

doris says their looking at 2m rule
hancock says 2m gives you 15 mins to form a so called contact
one M gives you a one min so called contact

so for his track and trace that would for example everyone in a pub, workplace etc a possible contact ,no way are scientist,s going to sanction that, are they, discrediting their own science

Depends on the person. Roy Hattersley has to be a 3 metre job.
