...US state lost 'hundreds of millions' to benefits scammers

The US state of Washington lost "hundreds of millions" of dollars to benefits scammers, officials there have acknowledged, as the number of workers laid off due to coronavirus continues to rise. The loss was disclosed by the state's Employment Security Department on Thursday.

Last week, the US Secret Service warned that states were being targeted by a “well-organised Nigerian fraud ring exploiting the COVID-19 crisis to commit large-scale fraud against state unemployment insurance programs” adding up to “potential losses in the hundreds of millions of dollars”.

The agency added that there was also evidence of attacks in North Carolina, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Oklahoma, Wyoming and Florida, the Seattle Times reports.

Indeed. Some of us predicted that the Grenfell Frauds would be massive and monstrous, and we could even identify the community the offenders would come from. Naturally, we were called WAAAAAAYYYCISTS for our intelligent and wholly accurate forecasts.

Meanwhile, here's one of Britain's very own, less well-organised, Coronavirus fraudsters. As predictable as night following day. And there are even claims he has close family links to the Labour Party. There's a surprise.

What do you suppose encouraged this fraudster to believe that he was perfectly entitled to commit his nasty crimes?

Ms Khatoon appears to have deleted her twitter account. People who voted her in will probably applaud the son.

The mother must be well embarrassed, he told the court the family live in 'abject poverty'. She's a politician earning good wages.

Labour politicians Kate Osamor, Diane Abbott, and now Councillor Samata Khatoon have all seen their sons convicted within the last 18 months. It’s becoming a recurring theme for Labour in North London…

I wonder if they all had private Schooling ???

Yes we can expect a full gallery of fund raiders to appear in the next year or two ......

Grenfell fund raiding  will be a drop in the ocean by the time this is all over ......
