I think Piers let him off lightly. Khan really struggling and yet further proof he did not get the job on merit. Khan comes across as being completely out of his depth.

One thing though can you imagine the chaos of wavering the congestion charge for ‘essential workers’? Nice piece of headline grabbing by Piers but just wouldn’t be possible to waver the charge imo.

pity didnt have previous mayor of london in charge as he was competent, as he is in current job.

The congestion charge increase and the other measures you deplore are government decisions forced on the Mayor and TfL by the government in return for the bailout.

It was Mr khan's idea to increase the charge and widen the hours and days he said so this morning hth.

London won't need a congestion cage in few years time when all the city jobs have gone that in turn will trigger a collapse of the rest of their economy

I very rarely correct such things as it's very "low" but when someone is calling other people stupid and making basic mistakes in the very words they are using to do so, it's hard to bite my tongue. Firstly there is no punctuation, it's a plural. Secondly even if there was, it would be an apostrophe, not a comma.
