Covid and regular flu prey on weak immune systems so take vitamins c and d with a zinc supplement to build up your tolerance .
Why our professionals are not giving out this advice is beyond me.

Easy fix foxy..get out in the sun(vitamin d) eat Oranges and Tangerines(vitamin c) zinc supplement you'll have to buy.
Report Petraco May 19, 2020 5:15 PM BST
Red meat, oysters, and poultry are excellent sources of zinc. Baked beans, chickpeas, and nuts (such as cashews and almonds) also contain zinc. Cool

Mother Nature always knows best, but sometimes we choose to ignore her, at our peril Plain

David Davis sent a letter to Hancock on the 17th asking why there was no mention of vitamin D . The letter is on his twitter account . Probably no

money in it .
Report leif May 19, 2020 6:14 PM BST
You don't need to take vitamin D during the spring and summer months.Has to be Viatmin D3 too.

Copper chloride and zinc will help boost your immune system.

Get some Lugol's Iodine which will disinfect your blood as it passes through your thyroid.

They used to add iodine to our salt but took it out..Chlorine and radium are close to it in the periodic table and will displace the iodine..

5000IU - 250 Softgels

plus P&P

Swanson have been in the game for donkey's years.

Tesco's version most likely nowhere near the strength of the above.

you don't need vitamin D supplements  until near Christmas unless you're housebound

Two scientists on BBC news this morning discussing it.

Points to note April or May to September! Rest of the year we are wrong latitude!

Eat fish in the winter!

The biggest link though may be to fatties. 33% odd had diabetes, mainly type 2.....usually fatties! This may have  caused deficiency in Vit D

Women are bettter at producing Vit D than men

Bame produce less Vit D

Seeing as I am not a rocket scientist I have no idea what I should do. I wait the Government Scientists to tell me what the science is so I can follow itShocked

I don't know why it's reached the media all of a sudden unless it's to underline a few facts /myths  ...the vitamin D thing has been doing the rounds for years   ...and still there are millions out there  who believe you can get vit d by laying in the garden in October Crazy

or another one i heard it that the sun isn't strong enough at our latitude to get any vitamin D Cry

and the all time classic ...we don't get enough sun  Plain

ffs ...people spend too much time on facebook
Report Coachbuster May 20, 2020 1:10 PM BST
an hour a day between 11 and 2  april to September is a good rule of thumb  ...nearer to midday the better esp at the start and end

make sure you get plenty of exposure late aug and into sept  as you need to store ...the body can store  around 3 months worth in the tank

if you get desperate ...hop down to Spain as they get roughly an extra month ..even later in the most southerly parts of that country

vitamin D fanatics can also get an  top up in cape verde in winter  if the budget allows

vitamin D is actually a hormone

Winter sun baby!

It still annoys me that Dr Shrillary on GMB got on his high rocking horse taking aim to covidiots sun bathing in the park minding their own business a long way away from others.

Same thing with people taking walks in the country to get beautiful fresh air...covidiots according to some!

Staying in touch with family at a safe distance...covidiots

Walofs

Anyway scientist

Tinned sardines sunflower oil or tomato sauce, fresh kippers, peppered mackerel or fresh mackerel? What about tuna?

How much benefit?
