I have a Government of Gibraltar £10 note laying around somewhere, you are welcome to it. A left over from a one night stand in Gibraltar, having arrived late following a ripped sail on our voyage from the Azores, the good old days

Took us hours to make it from the straits to the marina, 40 knot wind in our face. Tack over to the Moroccan side and you made progress, tack back across to the Spanish side and you just bobbed up and down on the spot.
Not to difficult to figure out why the rock was of such strategic importance in the days of olde, you could sit up there and pick off your enemies at will as they made their way in or out of the Med.

Did the elites leave small hidden clues about SARS-CoV-2 on the Gibraltan note like they did on the 10 Aussie Dollars note?

If memory serves me well, I believe that there was a regular chit-chatter some years ago who lived and worked in Gibraltar. Can't recall his user name though.

My first choice would be Porto Santo, the smaller of the 2 main Madeira islands but i don't think i will be able to if it remains Portuguese territory which is a great shame as its unspoilt, average daytime temperatures never below 14°c even in January, i have enough Portuguese to get by and even have a connection there...and Seve Ballesteros designed golf course.Plus a huge beach
