I'm getting a bit suspicious...have the powers that be intervened?
I don't really understand what a bad gateway means...is it entirely
a problem with Dave's output or could it be something more sinister?
It's been down since late last night, so that's about 16 hours and counting.
PS - I'm not so conversant with anything techy - could someone tell me what
the word 'mirrored' means in brackets after a video's title that's gone online?

and if the attack is indeed very big, then Cloudflare has an option for an additional layer to check if you are indeed a legitimate user instead of a bot that performs a DDoS attack (you might've seen the "checking your browser before accessing" message).
He's just banking on gullible sheeple to buy into his fairytale when it was him who took it down on purpose to sell a story. |

Found these two comments he's posted over the last few hours but I'm still confused as to what that means in English  The attacks on http://Davidicke.com are continuing this morning and as these types of attack are very expensive to mount and sustain in this way it's obviously not a bloke in his bedroom but a major player. All this for someone dismissed as a 'nutter'? Yeah, right. TERRIFIED OF DAVID ICKE: We have taken down http://Davidicke.com overnight amid a serious denial of service attack. distributed denial of service attacks are basically bots (as in not real humans) making lots and lots and lots of requests to a web server to bring it to its knees.
To protect against it, there are specific services like Cloudflare, which Icke also uses for his website. |
