Forgetting about science and R for one moment. The questions that need to be answered is how to get public transport operating at full capacity again and children back to school so parents can go back to work plus childminding.
If these cannot be solved there is no solution. The bottom line is push will come to shove financially and economically. There will be more deaths as a result imho than from the virus. Maybe that is not an exaggeration. We really are in trouble here. Necessity and desperation is the only way we shall find a solution. This is not Sparta! |
