Innocent until proven guilty.  In the USA, you are allowed to carry firearms.  He was shot in a violent struggle between a 25 year old and a 64 year old.  It seems he was thieving from the street and the the 64 year old tried to detain him.

Sky News have a picture of the victim in a smart suit and captions of the accused as thugs.  Let's wait and see what happens in court, when the accused turn up in suits and the videos of the victim are shown.

If someone attacks you and you have a gun you shoot them to preserve your own life. It really is that simple. Everything else leading up to that may be in question as in this case, but yes you shoot to kill upon attempted disarmament

If the (alleged) murderer worked in the DA's offic it wouldn't be that difficult to find a nice portrait of him in a suit too, or a picture of the victim snooping around burgled premises.  But then that doesn't fit the UK media narrative.

The victim was a former college American footballer.  It's fair to say he'd probably have posed a big physical threat in the fight.

Anyhow, you'll only know the details, including ballistic reports, (as it's not clear who shot him or how many times he was shot)

if you are in the jury.  If it goes to court that is.

the video is out there( was on cnn this  morning ) , have a look and if you don't think that's murder, heaven help you.

They were armed but that is normal in America
I don't think they were looking to kill him from the off, but that's for a jury to decide
He does come from behind the truck and try to wrestle the gun away and in the melee is shot
I reckon I would have ran away from a scenario like that but again that's a personal point of view

To prevent this sort of situation. Did you see the video of the cop trying to taser the guy? America Is  a dreadful place when this stuff goes on. Those two men were not the Police and a man is dead. I hope they stay in jail for a long time.

I don't think they will go to jail for a significant time based on that video

How would you feel if it was your child. How would you feel if two geezers went out with guns and killed your brother by mistake? Would you accept an apology from them?

Rent a crowd on both sides of the argument. The gun did go off in the struggle then the son shot him is what we know so far. A pretty sad affair for all concerned. One man dead and maybe two going to jail for life.

When a white person kills a black person it's always assumed to be a racist murder by some people. It's not always the case.

There are things such as self defense for example. Skin color should simply not come into it at all.
