Will be at the Lakes at some point and probably Devon. Will certainly be in Wales in the relative short term as well. Not sure about Scotland this year may well give it a miss.

No abroad for most again ever

They'll be priced well out of it, they are already implementing global warming into this

Thank you, she has been a candidate since March but no operations can take place because the donor match has to be perfect but they can't go ahead unless they are certain they don't have the virus, which right now is impossible.

Needless to say, she is really pished off because we can't see family etc but she is also confined to quarters and is not allowed out at all. Maybe she likes me singing to spotify while typing away? Grin

Well, we are luckier than most. We stayed there for just over a week getting all the tests, pretty intense stuff. While we were there we shared an apartment with a girl from Denmark and her mum. They have been waiting on site now for five months for a donor. Addenbrookes is the only place in Europe that does the transplant we are both waiting on.

Going to KFC drive-thru tomorrow.

Best to your Mrs, PP.

Cancelled summer Vegas trip, but have  Xmas booked anyway.

Almost certainly be cancelling that, but no cost to leave it sitting until the week before to cancel.

For the rest of this year, I hope I can get to Devon/Cornwall coasts or Pembrokeshire. For next year I would hope to pay our usual March visit to the south of Spain and Portugal and perhaps to the Cairngorms.  Apart from those, I am not in a rush to go to any other countries. I also hope that we can reopen our holiday cottages in Somerset to our regular guests by September.

best wishes to your mrs pp.

Looking at getting away later in year, got concert in Glasgow mid October, might go on up to west coast, Plockton, ullapool. if can get to mull might have few days there. also got concert in Aberdour in December , might have look round east coast eg St Andrews ( never been ) .
Usually go to states or Canada in September, obviously leaving it this year, let the guinea pigs fly, and take a look next September- hopefully prices not too high for long haul.

I am itching to book an OS trip. Have to wait to see if there are  second surges or the like. Mrs ‘Death wants to do a road trip, Lake District or Cornwall maybe even West Wales. I would rather try and swim to France.

If you are relatively fit and are not too bothered about taking your car, years ago we took our bicycles and got a caledonian macbrayne island hopping ticket to the outer hebrides visiting mallaig, skye, north uist, benbecula, south uist, barra then oban. You need the weather of course!

whispering , its not far off where i mentioned in cardigan, havent been, but if its night life forget about that area, aberporth is about 10 miles away fantastic beach with fabulous walking coastal path, with a little hop on bus in summer going from fishguard( i think), or might be cardigan town, nice place to do a bit of shopping in cardigan, if its a nice relaxing time you want head to newport, but make sure you go to the right one Grin.

Well Mrs ‘Death said a friend had a home in Newport so naturally I said whaaaaat, I am not going to Newport!

But she issued a let me finish and explained. Coastal paths and a good pub will do me. Heard it was beautiful in that part of Wales. Just waiting for the pubs to open now.

theres a pub with rooms right on a fantastic beach in llanngrannog called pentre arms , the waves come right onto the entrance, its right on the coastal path , id say about 30 miles from newport, excellent pub with sky sports on for cricket when i stayed, food excellent, and another pub few yards away, and the little  bus ( cardi bach) goes right by the beach. The famous welsh author TllewJONES based many of his smuggling/ bandits books on the area, I,LL borrow you them Laugh
