There's already a big police/CCTV unit appeared in the car park at my local supermarket, bristling with cameras it is, like Big Brothers wet dream and complete with an (un)reassuring 'keeping you safe' message sprawled along the side.

In readiness for what? Food shortages?

Anybody else noticed these?
