Media can't wait for a real big star to actually peg-it from C19, it will be the nonstop 24-hour headlines for a few days. But as the virus is a load of dingo's kidneys that isn't going to happen, unless one of them fakes their own death -  my money's on Madonna.

Figures of Deaths should be from Public Facing Workers  , Supermarkets etc , How many of those people have 1. Caught the Virus 2. Died from it

That should be the true Figure , of an Average persons risk .....

I would not include the NHS in the Figures,as they will have had more exposure to the Virus ............

Once hospital deaths dropped we got wider community and nursing/care homes added in to pad the numbers

Fact is the hospitals are still stone cold empty

Once the care homes can no longer pad the deaths they'll find some other way of padding them, ie homeless people dying or something along that line

Our death reporting is a joke quite frankly

They've gone out of their way to confuse and pad the deaths from day 1, Italy, France, Spain all reported their deaths a bit more precisely, ours have been a concocted mess which has been done on purpose to prolong the event itself

627 today, we hit a high spike but our peak is around the 600-700 mark and we've been there for weeks and will continue to stay there for a while.

Not strange at all.

Very very few younger people with no underlying conditions have died.

How many of the hundreds of thousands of professional sportspeople worldwide have died?

jolly

sounds daft but this will effect the average joe less than someone who exercises and keeps fit, because the average joe is usually sick with something 90% of the time anyway

A fit healthy sportsman/woman will feel the effects a lot more than someone who doesn't train

But nope, no sports star has died of this... which tells you something doesn't it

As Case said, it would be interesting and useful to know more about those who are getting infected.  Presumably this data is being gathered?  Has it been processed and published?

All we at the moment is Iceland.

Very early on in March they did mass blind testing and found 0.89% of the population infected. This was roughly 3,200 people of the 364k population when calculated out.

It is fair to say many more have been infected there now. 5000?

Total deaths in Iceland is 10.

https://www.covid.is/data

One person under 60 has died there although the research suggests it was not because of Covid. They just happened to test positive.

This give an infection fatality rate of 0.2%.

Factoring this out to the UK would mean around 15m in the UK have had it.

No it hasn't and it wont because that would expose it as nothing to worry about

Canada "82% of deaths in care homes"... its all coming out now isn't it Cry

Why not just open the facking country up already? the data is telling us everything, even their OWN DATA ffs

Its the flu, even the most blind to facts have got to be starting to question this now?

IF the economy goes, I still think they have a trick up their sleeve for that

It's probably fair to say that none of the 250 most famous over 70s have died of this.

Don't think Eddie Large would have been that famous.

So the logical conclusion from this in-depth forum research is that anybody reaching 70 years of age and NOT having an underlying health condition is about as rare as hens teeth... Cool

sachin tendulkar is known to well over a billion people, very famous in places like India, South Africa, Caribbean, Britain, Pakistan, Australia, but nobody in America would have a clue who he is, a bit like Tom Brady, very famous in America, would be unrecognisable to nearly all the people in the countries said above, though they may know the name, fame all depends where you are and what you've grown up with.

Indeed. But I think the Queen, Prince Philip,Charles,  Bill and Hilary, Trump,Clint Eastwood, Sean Connery, Robert de Niro, Pele......then the great majority know them regardless of age/cultural background. I think there must be way over 200 oldies more famous than Siegfried and Roy.

of course but you're not just famous if you're internationally recognised, if a whole country knows who you are, just one, you're still famous, just a much lower level of fame, either way having googled those magicians who'd I'd never heard of he was fairly old and maybe had other health issues
