Amazing to think he's been "PM" for only a year but it feels like 10
![]() He's been utterly useless, so useless they've kept him away from the camera for the majority of "tenure" thus far They are trying to turn him into Winston Churchill... He's not even that, and lets kept one thing right about Winston he was a wancor "there's lies, damned lies and statistics" One of Winstons famous quotes ![]() ![]() |

p.m.'s plans for the pandemic on a par with Churchills plans re Gallipoli, just hope we don't get as many dead.

He will ultimately be lambasted and derided as his recent predecessors were. The only question is the degree of severity.
I'm not even sure his deaths door reversal, can save him from being at the top of the list. |
|
By:
he has to - imho take a strong hold of the reins; summat he palbably is not doing at the mo. He got the ticket on his charisma, postivity & enthusiasm; all are sadly lacking at the mo. That may be down to his illness (he still doesn't look right to me) or maybe he is being advised on 2 or 3 different paths; it's time for him to lead

Only the one job outstanding - Brexit - No deal - seems **** scared - some of those hospitals they promised during the election might have come in handy - they are ignoring immigration so really its no change, same old ****, different day, different mask on the same face !

History will surely be severe on Johnson and trump
But folk will defend them all the way. Johnson is perhaps a decent front man who looked good as mayor with a decent team. His current advisors are good at winning elections and poor at givernment |

The beatings will continue until morale improves
This is what happens when your country is "run" by mediocre graduates with no work/life experience outside of politics, PR, media and journalism. |

thaat thought had crossed my mind; i know who has his ear besides Cummings & they do not see to eye to eye. Mackem mentioned today that twatter was rumouring rumbles about his leadership; i haven't heard anything or i would have said, rumbles like that don't take long to hit the floorboards of the pol eds shed. Time is of the essence though; & can kicking will not work; as his predecessor can testify to

I just don't see anybody capable of ousting him.
Brexit is not complete and he is doing the bidding for the guys in control. If he goes off message there then he will be dragged in by 1922, and position might be mildly questioned but I don't think he has it in him to go completely off message. We shall see. |
|
By:
we live in hope
i suspect the twatter misfits were similar to the ones who hoodwinked the press today/yesterday |

He's made a pildge of corona but sunak has put in place some decent finance to keep things ticking over. The recovery of UK economy over next 4 years will most likely decide next election, so maybe Johnson is in sunaks hands.
Looking a sound decision to replace javid |

indeed; an abbsolute shoe in for PM one day
|

By:
At the end of his third term, maybe.

I think it is far too early to call with so many variables. If the economy bounces back V style all will be forgiven imho but that is of course a big IF.
I think it will run out should he loses his new found sincerity and I mean that most sincerely folks. I think he has been affected by his near death experience and perhaps really is remorseful for sacrificing the old folk to present a facade of saving the NHS. If he returns to Clown Dorris in Parliament it might be his undoing. What was clear was that Starmer will pick his bones and if he keeps turning round at pmq’s when he is floundering to elicit cheering and jeering to hide his lack of attention to detail it will be the beginning of the end for him. |

I find the Bexiteers very amusing with taking back control when it is foreigners holding the 4 main jobs in government
Johnson born in America Sunak Indian origin Patel Uganda/Indian Raab Czech Foreigners ruling the Brits. |

Despite the views of the majority of the chit chat forum i think the najority of the country are right behind Boris and think he's doing a decent job in ridiculous circumstances.

It didnt matter who was in charge
Or which party was running the government Managing information is the task not standing by ideals Fake news, misinformation and propaganda Are the cogs in this wheel The wheel shows no bias left or right It just bumps up and down On the rocky road ! |

johnson = poundland churchill

By:
Most chit chatters were probably surprised he won the general election so easily.
They have no comprehension of how popular Boris is with the people of this country with those of us that have a glass half full view on life. The pessimists will always be miserable and never happy looking for problems that do not exist. Nothing that can be done about that. |

Will never forgive him for listening to Neil Ferguson and imposing lockdown and closing the pubs. Sweden, Korea and Japan don't have lockdown and the latter are densely populated.
|
|
By:
and johnson and ferguson have ignored their own advice too.

By:
The general consensus on here is that he locked down too late thus murdering thousands of people, is that right?
|
|
By:
Spot on
|
|
By:
And yet we have folks like Manoleeds above who thinks we shouldn't have locked down at all..
When does the forum think he should have locked down and how many lives do they think it would have saved? |
|
By:
He was complacent, incompentent and arrogant.
im sure if could turn clock back things would have been done differently. but we cant, and he has to live with his mistakes as does the rest of uk. |
|
By:
Do you comprehend the fact that lock down costs lives?
|
|
By:
I think the majority of posters on here, if knocked over by a bus tomorrow would blame Boris.
|
|
By:
And jobs, and livelihoods, and liberty, and education, and future, and well being? Probably not tbf.

He is a lazy lazy fecker..when put under pressure just tells even bigger porkies..200000 tests a day in 3 weeks?
The most unprepared pm in history...had a bet he will be gone by year end..the knives are sharpening make no mistake. |
|
By:
I can take him or leave him but im interested to know why you think he's lazy? He could be working 18 hour days? Or are you just guessing he's lazy because you dont like him?
|
|
By:
By the way i can take him or leave him and I'm not a tory voter.

I suspect the recession we're going into will destroy far more lives than this virus but im guessing like the rest of us.

Anyways, enjoy your bank holiday folks, I'm gonna spend the day in the garden enjoying the sunshine.

Everyone who knows Bojo says he is a lazy fecker..the hide and seek champion...during the floods he was on a two week jolly with his
current bird...contrast with Sturgeon who is doing virtually every covid briefing on a daily basis and fielding tough questions. It is rare for us to see Bojo. |
