I tried some burgers with herbs. They were a waste of thyme.

Best cook the meats in the oven and 'finish' them off on the charcoal if desirable. huge amount of food poisoning emanates from  under-cooked meat. #stay home. save lives.burn your meat

Buy a big green egg or other Kamado. You will never cook meat indoors again. Expensive but will last you 25 years and meat is amazing. Not well known about in these parts, a 3,000 year old Japanese cooking system. Use a thermometer to measure 'doneness'. Doneness isn't just a colour it's a temperature.
