66,000 dead in USA and thousands sitting on a Florida beach. Unbelievable
Report PorcupineorPineapple May 2, 2020 7:49 PM BST
Said this before, but America is on a par with the Middle East for absolute crackpot behaviour. People ignoring safety, trusting their god above scientists, armed militia storming government buildings and a leader advocating injecting bleach.

Apart from a few good bands and movie studios we should be avoiding that place like the plague.
Report Baphornet May 2, 2020 7:59 PM BST
not to worry; The Grim Reaper has already made an appearance

Sweden didn't shut down, plenty of states didn't shut down in the US

Other places haven't shut down either and yet there's absolutely no difference in the deaths, in fact the states that didn't shut down have had fewer deaths than the one's that did shut down.

People need to take off the facking blinkers and wake the heck up before its to late
Report SontaranStratagem May 2, 2020 8:03 PM BST
And if anyone comes out with the utter nonsense about 1 per 1000 or whatever other BS they like to pedal to fit nicely into their stupid crackpot agenda do one ffs

1000 deaths vs 30000 deaths, one didn't shut down the other did

And the one that did got 30000

I mean they ain't even hiding out absurd it is, wouldn't they have had it the other way round to show us we to shut down in future?

Fack sake

"But but but Density"

Utterly mental how dense people are, perfect bloody argument is density

The numbers right there in front of them show them, yet they have to apply some crackpot logic with those numbers, its utterly mind numbing

And yet the drier warmer states have less deaths than their wetter colder counterparts

Funny that

The way things are going, that is likely.

Report SontaranStratagem May 2, 2020 8:13 PM BST
When they want you well away from death figures they'll simpley stop reporting them

They'll vanish altogether

Right now its still serving a purpose to have them reported (Less so here)

But once they want you looking elsewhere they'll remove them

the countries that don't relax house arrest will be hoping the ones that do, will fail miserably to contain this. The MSM will spout whatever shîte scares peeps the most, meanwhile - depending on their agendas; scientists & other boffins are working out whats the best way to get their noggins on the TV. Round & round we go........

The beach looks almost empty to me and plenty of distance between the pockets of sunbeds. If it's safe to work indoors in a factory, call centre or warehouse, which it is in Florida and the UK, then it is certainly safe to sit outdoors on a beach or at a park doing social distancing.

US mortality figures for the year are actually lower than the average for the last few years, for those who can be bothered to do any independent research

when things begin to return to something near the old normal (with certain exceptions that won't be rolled back, like social distancing)
without a doubt a "2nd wave" is coming

what that is anyones guess...most likely another practice with tighter lockdowns imo
hopefully not a legit culling Plain

300 million plus in usa , 66,000 dead
65 million plus in uk  near 30,000 deaths
Report SontaranStratagem May 2, 2020 9:18 PM BST
A tighter lockdown makes no sense when the first one "worked"

Something else is coming though, this would have very little sense if they just let it open back up over the summer and that's it
Report wondersobright May 2, 2020 9:20 PM BST
they'll say told you so, released the lockdown restrictions too fast
need to go straight to lockdown next time because lockdown "works"
this is how they work
Report wondersobright May 2, 2020 9:22 PM BST
then they'll fook people about until its vaccine time...then the real fun begins
Report SontaranStratagem May 2, 2020 9:23 PM BST
They scrapped absolutely everything including all the summer sporting festivitys

They ain't doing that for a poxy 2 months lockdown surely?

Agreed, they'll play it again because it would make no sense not to.

Its normalising lock downs, 2nd lockdown is going to finish a lot of, they are participating in this one because they think its all going back to normal and that's it, most are starting to feel the heat now and are wanting it to end

I think it'll affect the middle class more than the poor, some of the poor will not participate in it anyway and haven't done for this one, but they are mentally stronger than the middle class, the middle class think their mentally strong and brag about how they are being strong, but they will be the first to crack.
Report wondersobright May 2, 2020 9:26 PM BST
Its normalising lock downs

absolutely 100% is this
Report SontaranStratagem May 2, 2020 9:26 PM BST
Loners will not know any different Laugh, most of us think its early school summer holidays Laugh

And the fun starts when they have a 2nd wave in my opinion, the mentally weak will crack and flip out trust me

IF there is a 2nd wave, I think there will be but we'll see
Report wondersobright May 2, 2020 9:27 PM BST
some people think it will be later in the autumn
I think it might be a longer lockdown starting some time early next year tbh...to coincide with the vaccine coming out

...but there could easily be more than 1 wave to come

I don't see how it can be summer (June, July and August), there's no way they'll risk it that soon

I'll be October in my opinion, with the spike in cases appearing around Mid to late September, sudden surge and boom lockdown 2 October 1st or 2nd with all sport cancelled for the foreseeable future

And the next one has to be a food shortage involved Plain this one has seemed very light for a "pandemic"

And cheers wonder will watch
Report wondersobright May 2, 2020 9:33 PM BST
yeah agree this summer will be mostly phased easing of restrictions imo
Report SontaranStratagem May 2, 2020 9:34 PM BST
Stocking up over summer is essential just in case

Because I'm not sure how food will go with an autumn/winter lockdown

Its all well and good them doing it through the spring because we get warmer weather and you can go for walks/runs and soak up the rays

But dreary, drizzly, cold/damp months of December, January and February ? with no sport? no pubs? and social life?

Still. Angoose, PP and clacton will be happy enough in their basements posting up death figures and graphs Wink
