This is it isn't it? the moment where someone with the authority has prepared to basically say Sh1t or bust.

Whichever way this goes is going to accelerate or de-rail others responses to getting back to normal.

There will be huge pressure, not only from within the states but also from within other countries by an increasingly frustrated population to release restrictions if it turns out that a region that in no way is in a position "by popular scientific reasoning" to re-open.

If it goes wrong, we will all be set back even further than we'd already hoped as govts will hunker down further.
