You are right Casemoney if going on public transport/supermarket etc imo. Why give that "advice" today in the face of most countries in the world?
They simply could have said if you feel more comfortable wearing one,by all means do,we all know they were trying to keep the masks for the NHS at the expense of the public at least til a few weeks ago but supply seems to have increased and you wonder their motives. |

they,ve told us for 3 months this can only be passed on via droplets,if your coughing ,sneezing you should be self isolating,by saying masks stop the spread of droplets your taking away the need to self isolate
they've told us for 3 months even if you pass droplets if you stand 2 m away,your safe they say a mask stops you spreading it if your Asympomatic,theres still no concrete evidence Asympomatics can spread it with or without masks,but as your not passing droplets ,masks make no difference, they've either lied for 3 months or masks are of no use if you are already following the guidelines,they might as well advise wearing a pink Stetson at the same timd |

Yeah i understand the german authorities actually discussed the possibility of making people wear different coloured armbands if they had or had not been tested. They eventually settled for an App.

The reason I wore a facemask after cheltenham was two fold. On my way to cheltenham an oriental lady was wiping down her seat and armrests before she took her place on the plane. Then at baggage pick up there were about six chinese looking people all wearing facemasks , picking up and wiping down there bags.

Advice , anyone saying they would be a NEGATIVE As soon as we were going into Lockdown I obtained top quality masks , I did not need anyone to tell me to do so , Just putting my Mask on to head to the Corner shop now ..As I have been doing for Some time ... |

First of all it was make sure you wash your hands
Then we had no hugs, touching or hand shakes Then we got sneeze or cough into the elbow Then we got keep apart two metres Then we got only go outside up to 2 kilometres Then we got gards on street corners.... Facemasks just another step on the ladder ? |
