1.  There was something in her eyes - FLOATERS
2.  Genuflect - NEIL
3.  Swaledale Soup - GLEN CAMPBELL

4.  Famous in The Maldives (something The Maldives are famous for, easy to see in all the tourist photos, early 90s female singer, only really known for one song, it's a house classic with an earworm of a hook to it)

5.  Keith's spicy salmon - PINK FLOYD

6.  All in a team (who are?  late 70's punk band)

7.  Crazy cognac - WILD CHERRY
8.  Only one brother - HARPO
9.  Paula 2:15:25, Eliud 2:01:29, Mo 2:05:11 - THE TYMES

10. All in the hive (60s one-hit wonder, their hit was the answer to a recent song titles quiz, took some getting iirc)
11. B@stards, they've killed him (mid-70s cheesy pop group)

12. She gets too hungry for dinner at eight, but I love her anyway - SUPERTRAMP

13. Indian conqueror (male singer, what is this particular Indian?  Who was the conqueror?)

14. Cambridge Professor is a game bird - DON PARTRIDGE
15. Bright but also bashful - CHI-LITES

16. Parker loved renovating the kitchen - or even the bathroom, what job did he like doing? Who is this particular Parker? (female singer)
17. Upsetting odour (late 70's band only known for one song.  I would say it is fairly well known/familiar but did not chart over here)  What might you do if you were upset?
18. Lunchtime chat Amens (who is chatting at lunchtime and what does Amen signify?)
19. Louder horseshoe (there was only one hit in his own in the mid 70s for the multi-talented singer, songwriter, producer, musician.  The horseshoe is nothing to do with a horse in this instance, although it is a living creature)
20. Zeb (this sort of clue is payback because of Aspro's My Condo clue the other day Devil)

Is 20 along this sort of line: "Zeb" is 'half' a "Zebra". You could say the white stripes form half of a zebra (and the black stripes the other half), so:

20 The White Stripes  ?

Cheers Aspro, and your're right, it had to be either Zebra or Zebedee, not really any other words to choose from. Struggled for a while to connect "edee" to anything, lol!
