Question about furlough

Can you work from home? You could request to be furloughed but if their is work to do that may prove difficult to obtain.

i work in road construction so cannot work from home

Think the current situation will cover 2 months anyway FId , I am not sure of the rules regarding

Someone at my place is in a similar position but can work from home if not he would go straight on to SSP as company cannot afford to pay anyone sick pay and a lot including myself have been with the company for well over 20 years

The problem is Firms rely on other Firms , if the chain is not complete it is not possible to work .

sky just said government continuing the furlough scheme until the end of june. good luck.
