I am employed ane we are currently on furlough. yesterday i got a letter from the NHS telling me to stay at home for 12 weeks as of yesterday, will i continue to receive my furloughed wage if the rest of the workforce return to work before me
Someone at my place is in a similar position but can work from home if not he would go straight on to SSP as company cannot afford to pay anyone sick pay and a lot including myself have been with the company for well over 20 years

If you or someone you live with is ‘extremely vulnerable’
You’ll need to avoid face to face and stay at home for 12 weeks - this is called ‘shielding’. Your employer can furlough you and pay you through the Coronavirus Job Retention scheme. They can do this even if the business isn’t shutting down.
