My Masks have a filtered Valve Won , Which allows air in and out , quite tight fitting as well

A very simple design , Probably not great but can see no harm in them Can be quickly pulled up

If in an area where other people are Happy As Stated if tests became more available to the

General public ,that would be ideal ..

so all the vulnerable people on a longer lock dow, those younger and healthy who supposedly could shake it off,all wearing masks which will stop them getting it, Confused. commits a vaccine or nothing older, vulnerable people locked inside for 18 months and will be last to get any vaccine probably.
without masks less than 15% have thought to have built up any immunity,if masks work not a chance of getting anywhere  near the 60% plus needed for herd immunity,if herd immunity was the government plan, pretty obvious why mask wearing wasn't encouraged

might be ok if you are healthy case, restricted breathing shouldn't affect you if worn for a short period

I was just countering your point that there isn't a downside to wearing a mask because there is
restricted breathing will have serious consequences for some

The problem with the Herd caper is who is and who is not on The V list , I know many older people
who have not received the 3 month letter , Never the less I would not want them catching the Virus
How can we stop that ??

Anti Body testing needs to be massively scaled up , and it will be at some stage ..

They looked like they were going to go balls out with AB testing , Kits at boots and on Amazon
then two days later it was not being done Sad

Won I aint  a picture of health TBH which is partly why I took to wearing the Mask,I am not on the V List  , I have feeling
I caught a Mild/Mid  version weeks back but who knows ..The whole situation is crazy I was in the
queue at the Shop with mask on the other day , and you have to check if you are awake and not dreaming Sad

Dunno what the Asians advised their people but can't imagine they're all wearing masks without being advised to.

We are told that the main way it spreads is from nose/mouth droplets from coughing and sneezing and that from a surface onto the hands/touching mouth/nose/eyes is a secondary way it spreads. Yet all we are told is 'wash your hands' repeatedly, ie protect against the secondary spread but not the primary one?

Even the N95 masks which are supposed to be effective - we are not even told 'wear one of these if you have one'.
Seems like the 'advice' is based on politics to me and the more powerful western countries have an input into what WHO advice is suitable to them, rather than what is best for people.

You are being lied to

They do not have enough PPE forNHS staff let alone care home workers who are spreading the disease and culling the old folk off the official statistics.

They do not want the public to buy masks as it will highlight how useless the authorities have been in procurement.

One of the ideas of mask is to protect you from me and I would expect you to protect me from you. It is very simple and does not need a WHO confirmation.

Wake up people!

I went to a Sainsbury’s local last night. No social distancing, no masks, no gloves.

No chance this will go away soon.

"Wear a mask when shopping or on transport please" You can wear your mask but I don't see the point and won't

The convolutions necessary for safe mask wearing are totally beyond most of us. And there's a real danger of a false sense of security amongst those people who feel it's themselves they are protecting. For every thoughtless person who pushes too close in the supermarket aisle, or coughs without properly covering their mouth, there are ten in danger of being infected with Paranoiavirus complacentimaximus who is swaddled in cloth, crosses the road if they see anybody coming and reprimands people who let their kids off the lead.
