A great deal of sanitisers....sprays,hand lotions etc claim to kill 99 per cent of all known germs.Is Coronavirus in the 99 or 1 per cent category?

The hand sanitizer coming in from China right now does not meet the 60% alcohol requirement, therefore it's useless.
They are total sharks, making the stuff knowingly below par as it increases profit and selling it en masse at a hugely marked up price.

Because the virus is covered in lipids (fats) . The soap dissolves the fats so the spikes can't bind to and enter human cells .
