Hardly remarkable..they've got over 25,000 ventilators (proper ones) and have been getting loads of stick from other euro countries for not sharing plus the halt on the export of protective equipment. The Germans wouldn't give you the steam of their p!ss, a sad attempt at a publicity stunt. What is not surprising is that The Guardian picks up this non-story and runs it as a lead.
Oh dear Eric, unlike our PM, you would appear not to be in good spirits.

You can always return them. But it is rude to accept a gift and then talk like that. It's just 60 ventilators. If you don't need them send them to the euro countries you think Germany hasn't treated well.

I'd rather they pay their NATO bill or accept their share of migrants after Merkel's open door policy
Not you, but when this stuff comes from the people that love to talk about the wars I always kind of wonder if they'd really want Germany to spend more on the military than anyone else in Europe or if they'd then start to smell Germany arming itself to create Lebensraum in the UK.

how about you send us 5000 proper ventilators and we will promise not to put a post-brexit tariff on imported german cars
Only if you ask politely. Not like this.
