What was the point of that pop group?
1) Always derivative.
2) Daltrey a poor man's Plant.
3) And a Brexiteer.
4) Who laughable claims that Jimi Hendrix "stole" the act of Pete Townshend.
5) The nonce.
6) The whole band were mercenary and unlikeable.
7) Riding on the coat-tails of The Beatles and the "British invasion", taking advantage of America's susceptibility and cynically exploiting the hippie ideal.
8) They wouldn't go on at Woodstock until they got paid in cash.
9) So, obviously, they did not play for long.
10) What did they ever stand for, anyway? Destroying their instruments? Big deal.

Sorry, have to fill time these days, and probably not rewardingly in this case. Looked at early stuff on youtube.

I like Who and CCR. They were the rock bands of the 70's even I can relate with.
