Some good shows mentioned. I never tire of watching Callan.
The Virginian a great tv western series. The Sandbaggers very good too and The Fugitive (David Jansen) is still extremely good if you have a couple of months to spare. Alec Guinness as George Smiley in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Smiley`s People. The Odd Couple still very funny imo and superb acting by Klugman and Randall. |

I watched Yuppy Love again the other day. I think it has to be the best 45 min of comedy even though a fair bit of it was cut.

Managed to watch the first series of Rising Damp last night. Maybe have a search for Reggie Perrin, think that's how you spell it.
A few more good programmes mentioned. I used to watch Alias Smith and Jones with my dad on a Sunday, then the Golden Shot after. Left a bit, right a bit.up a bit, fire. Bernie The Bolt was some shot. Gonna add Kung Fu with David Carradine. All the kids in the street were play fighting and saying ah grasshopper after they whacked each other. Happy days. |

Chuck Connors was mentioned earlier, I remember him in Branded and the Rifleman.
Start of Branded where they rip off his buttons and epaulettes, break his sword in half and he walks through the fort gates to the tune 'Branded scorned with a cowards name, what do you do when you're branded and you know you're a man'. |
|
By:
yes branded and rifleman, and cowboy in afrrica was about the same time.
saturday our hosehold, banana splits, then on the ball, grandstand/world of sport, dr who, dixon, then i recall black and white minstrels , thriller (really scary) match of the day |
