He's a goner if he goes onto a ventilator
why?

If they are letting the public know that he is in ICU then he is probably already dead by now. Just feeding slow info to the public so they aren't shocked(though I doubt the news shocks anyone these days). Just my theory
He wouldn't die that quick with covid
A ventilator can keep somebody alive for a while even if there is no chance of survival
Also they would be looking for lung transplant donors (from prisons in China!)

Think Boris is legend That ruby tackle, football aid tackle unbelievable still today when I watch ithttps://youtu.be/IBt8AoLBCoohttps://youtu.be/uVXjXmy8_Yk
Apparently he is super competitive
He still plays tennis with a wooden racket that is bent and therefore the ball goes in all sorts of strange directions, like a threepenny bit

Anyone hear the doctor on the Stephen Nolan show last night? Said if Boris goes on the ventilator, he will have a 53% chance of survival. As an analogy, the doctor said it's like trying to inflate a damaged tyre. At this stage it increases chances of heart attack and other organ failure. It's extremely scary how fast a person can deteriorate once it hits the lungs.Anyone with underlying health issues cannot afford to get infected. Stay safe everyone.Best wishes for Boris.
Yeh Dr Al breaks it down well
Boris is in one of the top hospitals though
It is one of the few hospitals in the country to have a life support machine called ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation).
This highly specialised piece of equipment can do the work of the heart and lungs. There are only a handful of these machines around the country.

Ten years ago my Dad who was 70 at the time had a fall from a ladder during the winter months when he slipped from about 12 feet to the ground onto a concrete pavement landing somewhat fortunately on his side. He suffered massive internal bleeding from injuries sustained and went on a life support machine shortly after being admitted to hospital. He was on the ventilator. 7 days later he walked out of the ICU and went striaght home as he didnt want to go onto the ward. He is still with us today despite all of us writing him off. He says he is a dead man walking and everyday is a blessing. Remarkable man and the hospital still tell the story . Never lose hope.
