Did you think them up yourself, or borrow them from somewhere?

I always liked the Clint Eastwood anagram. I will have to Google it first though!
Report hfink April 5, 2020 6:20 PM BST
Cheers liqernpoker, they're a rare breed though, and lot's of playing with the Wordsmith.org anagram program to try to get something useful from remaining letters.
Report liqernpoker April 5, 2020 6:21 PM BST

Report Aspro April 5, 2020 6:22 PM BST
Take a look at the new thread guys. If enough interest we'll get going with it (need to create it first)
Report hfink April 5, 2020 6:23 PM BST
Hi kenbo, yeah, they're all mine, some go years back though. Myself and a colleague at work used to fire film anagrams at each other (in between work, as it were!), and I started to favour the 'apt' variety. But as I say, hard to find. You look for a name or something suitable in the title, then just try to work something around. Fails more often that not of course.

The Clint Eastwood one is "Old West Action".

Report hfink April 5, 2020 6:32 PM BST
Hi liqernpoker, if you like the cryptics, then I've got a number of film/film-related cryptic clues (i.e. newspaper type clues) I've collected down the years. I can put them up on here one week.
Report hfink April 5, 2020 6:32 PM BST
