Surely the number of cases China had doesn't have a direct link to the number of cases other countries have now?

IS it would not surprise me in the least if the true numbers for China were 10x minimum

Are you for real, you have to know what the epicentre numbers were to react. Helps other countries plan a response.

Of course their is a direct link, if China had zero then we would all be ok.

Every country knew there would be a pandemic in January. Different counties have taken different approaches in how to deal with it. Some planned well and others didn't.

Well, Germany looks to be one of the better ones. The USA approach for now looks a bit disjointed with different states taking completely different approaches.

1.01 landed.

Do you really believe the German figures and that they are testing so many ? Impossible to test so many they claim, 500k a day or claimed now a week, ffs.

Im sure you know in America states have leaders that decide.

The post-coronial age must involve the end of globalist supply lines, which means the end of globalism, which has the beautiful effect of bringing china`s plans for world supremacy to an instant end, followed by a popular revolution there, and the world finally being rid of it`s last communist threat to our freedoms and very existence.

I think Ibrahima, you are just suffering from the colonial mindset. Might take a couple more generations for people to realize exactly where UK is on the world stage.

Like i said yesterday, you can't stop dinghies from entering your country, can't stop illegals from raping your kids, black economy is thriving, Not to mention that UK itself has happily invaded countries who would love to invade you back for it.

But no, let's invade China and liberate their people because they are hiding their corona numbers.

In normal circumstances I'd tel you to go out and breath some fresh air.

You can't do much about China at the moment, need them as they seem the only answer for the vast amount of equipment now needed.

Trump and Boris played this down to "protect economies" (Boris tis nothing,i was shaking hands with effected 2nd MARCH,herd immunity "theory" followed till mid MARCH).They were joking about this.

Ultimately probably not much anything could have been done except slow it anyway, i hope Ireland can be added to the countries that have been seen to have "done well".

The UK is different, heavily populated, doesn't look good, such a big plus in having the NHS though, at least unlike the States who many cannot afford to see a Doctor.

We should demand they close all 'wet-markets' where coronavirus originated, also unacceptably cruel to animals

Or we will trade with someone else. there are other countries who could make cheap goods for us.
By:

detraveller, i think you are downplaying how vital it is when virus originates and the need to get the numbers and timeline information as accurate as it can be to help the rest of the world respond in a correct manner.

Reg it came from a lab when testing some bats, not a market.

He has the one qualification needed to head the WHO; a proven willingness to sell out the health of the world in return for his thirty pieces of chinese silver. As culpable, with as much blood on his hands as xi, both need sending to one of xi`s `re-education` camps

And so this is the noble figure that ascended to the role of director of the WHO in 2017. Not one to miss a chance to defend mass murderers, he previously argued against the ICC trial of Uhuru Kenyatta under whose government 1,300 had been killed after **** elections. Not surprising then, that one of the first things Tedros did after taking the job, was to nominate Robert Mugabe – thankfully now dead - as goodwill ambassador to the WHO; A man who ordered the killings of 20,000 people in Zimbabwe during the 1980s.

UK is an island. How does one expect newcomers without papers and funds to arrive? Dinghies. What about other countries with the sea as a border? The UK has been and still is hospitable to newcomers eg Irish, Polish and their cousins from the EU, Iraq, Syria, Kurdistan, etc.

As for illegals raping your kids. Some are not illegals but 2nd generation South Asians. What about Germany and Sweden?

Black Economy is thriving. Which country with a thriving economy does not have a black economy that is also thriving? It's not UK specific.

UK itself invaded countries. That was in the past, and UK being a top nation sometimes it's inevitable eg Bosnia, etc; Iraq was a mistake by Mr Blair who took it upon himself (and Mr Bush) - the British people were not behind him. Look what's happened to him now. Politically ostracised and discredited; Iraq is his nemesis in history.

As you are obviously an outsider with a history against the UK and no doubt has benefited too as a result, but because of Brexit you still feel terribly aggrieved and possibly cheated as freedom to travel into the UK is no longer a given.

I think and hope China will be asked to recompense the world for their secrecy and negligence in dealing with Covid-19.

I think countries will need to be extremely careful when dealing with China as they do not conform or follow accepted protocols eg the stealing of intellectual properties; manufacturing of fake goods; reclamation of islands in the S China Sea; etc.

That ship sailed about 20 years ago. Cutting ourselves adrift, neutering our power is only gonna make us the weaker party in any negotiations, not stronger. Would love a concerted effort to "influence" them to adopt better treatment of animals in particular, but that kind of influence is coming from the US or EU; they'll just laugh in our face if we try and force them to change.

Stupid post with a hint of admiration, we dont want them to change, the rest of the world just needs to cut off all imports from China.

In a time of a virus that is destroying countries you want to mention animals, give me a break ffs.
