only been in a shop once didn't really take much notice but thinking later,if your 2 metres from counter, how do you reach card machine, and if cash do you throw it at cashier and do they throw the change back, saw one shop on local news saying if you touch it you buy it,

Outside standing in supermarket queue 2 metres apart and someone starts vaping next to you in the queue. How do you react? Tell them the truth that their an ignorant Tw@t, and boot them in the balls, to a round of applause!!!

People queuing outside local J Sainsbury's, only 3 or 4, I didn't realise it was a queue and just walked straight in, thought they were just chatting to the security guard outside, he didn't see me, only realised on the way out. Inside it is not possible to keep 2 metres from everyone, too small, people do tend to squeeze in as much as they can though, everyone looks a bit sheepish on the high street as well, these are strange times, novelty worn off for me now.

I'm afraid that many older folk still haven't come to grips with the whole metric thing!
Also, I see just now that doubt is being cast over whether 2ms is enough! Well I, for one, already knew that, as on pre pandemic advice, we were told "up to 20 feet"..... ....hang on....isn't 20 feet 2ms? |

guidelines will be moved to 6m by WHO at some point but that wont fit in with doris wanting non essential workers continuing to go to work
think it will all turn out to be shoite and as in normal flu ,it will turn out this was airborn and passed on through the air it spreads that fast hard to believe millions are passing it on by picking it up of hard services before its gone away, then sticking your finger, hand up your nose, mouth etc before its gone away, imo, surprised theres been no mass ,intensive testing of getting samples off hard services inbusy places such as supermarkets, work places etc |

Morning Saddo, hope you're keeping well.

Of course, thinking it through, the answer is staring us in the face!
We all get to wear a 'burka' and shades! Doesn't need to be dull and black, for instance, city types could wear striped ones..... The Clergy could still wear a "dog Collar".... Posers could still wear the obligatory sweater over their shoulders, and shades on their heads.... Court barristers could still wear a wig.... Antique dealers could still wear a knotted thick scarf (even in summer)..... Chefs could still wear their hats.... Butchers, their blue and white striped aprons..... The Mayor/ess, 'The Chain of Office'..... etc |
