Honestly, not as bad as I thought. We will still be able to go out for exercise (including the dogs, presumably), and to shop for essentials for relatives and others in need. Pub visits, religious services, Gyms, haircuts etc can wait. I hope people don't try to maintain selfish behaviour, because it could get even worse if people take the pIss.

I'm assuming these police officers with the new powers to arrest all and sundry will have been told not to patrol around near certain religious buildings.

Can't travel for non essential jobs... Boris already been asked by 30 mps if they need to come in tomorrow.
By:
how exactly are they gonna enforce this lol
By:
Harsh talking to and maybe a fine if police not off sick is the current guidance
By:
Enforcing it is irrelevant for the vast majority of people.
The emphasis will be on breaking up large gatherings. |
By:
Police may be armed as they are here in northern ireland, people may then take it seriously if they know police have the right to stop and arrest them on the spot.
By:
People love being told what to do all the time.
This will work tremendously well. Police are marvellous and totally fair in all their dealings. Can't stop grinning. |

No mention of airports or the tube?!
Beggars belief! A friend of mine flew to New York on Saturday morning The Mayor of New York slags off the kids getting it on during summer break in Florida saying how irresponsible they but leaves his airport open as do we! I am not saying we don’t need to get a grip on this but the Politicians and experts need to answer some serious questions. The problem is nobody is asking them! |

The airport thing MUST have been brought to Boris's attention.
WHY is he leaving them be? It's obviously not an oversight. He hasn't forgotten about them. WHY is he letting them operate? There must be a legitimate reason. WHY aren't the press asking him?! |

No one imagines that you’ll achieve 100% compliance or enforcement with any laws or regulations.
Drink driving is just one such example. Most people comply and don’t do it. Some do it and get away with it. Some do it and get caught. |
By:
aint joking one lady reported that, she had virus
By:
theres no point in saying you can only go out to exercise once a day when its impossible to enforce
By:
See above for drink driving.
