Got a mate who is a permanent member of staff and worked as a service engineer for six years.
Today he gets a call saying ‘because of the current situation, stay at home on Monday due to the company unable to book work in and we will contact you in the near future.’
He will not be paid during his time ‘off’.
This legal?
