Branson taking people into space, building playground Cruise Ships for hedonist. Smiling his chops off as he announces his visions of Utopia.

Fast forward a few weeks and he's pleading to the Goverment to throw 75 billion or so to save him and his buddies.

Now he's asking his minions to take 8 weeks of unpaid LEAVE.

Easyjet will be on the ponce soon following last months 174m dividend to shareholders, with Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou netting 60m.

He then urged the airline to slash costs by cancelling orders for planes and sacking staff during the coronavirus outbreak.

So Dicky didn't retreat to the Virgin Islands to evade paying tax, he did it for the love of the islands.

Now he wants the UK taxpayer to bail him out with loans.

Sell your assets, reduce staff, cut running costs like many other businesses will be forced to do.

Virgin Australia is set to go into voluntary administration in the biggest airline collapse in Australia since Ansett failed in 2002, putting thousands of jobs and more than a billion dollars in pre-paid tickets at risk.

Administration is likely to wipe out the value of stock in the group, including that held by dominant shareholders Singapore Airlines, Chinese groups Nanshan and HNA, the government of Abu Dhabi through state airline Etihad and billionaire Richard Branson.

However, administration may also help a buyer to reduce or eliminate a debt mountain of more than $4.8bn owed to banks that has crippled the airline as it continued to burn through cash while its planes were grounded.

Trading insolvent then?

Dickie sticking his Island of Necker up as collateral against bailout loans from the taxpayer.

Maybe we can get a free week's holiday there as a thank you when we bail him out.
