I honestly haven't a clue what Hancock and co are trying to say,

Would this be right at this point?

We won't shut down that much, tell the oldies to hide for a few months, everyone gets it,that gives protection to the oldies.

Am i on the right track?

most of it is up for debate ,but to stop the WHO,S top recommendation of exstensive  testing saying it is of no value is truly staggering

Especially when South Korea have made a success of extensive testing and are seeing their rates of death and infection decreasing by the day.

This was the problem about getting rid of most of our industry and relying on financial services, which, funnily enough, aren't much use now.
Thanks Maggie.

For all we know hindsight might very well show that in fact Spain and Italy have had a right result and history might show that the actions they've taken has saved lives.

It seems to me that everyone right across the board has under-estimated this thing, but what we, in this country are doing is looking at Spain and Italy and viewing what they are doing , seeing the death rate out of control and erroneously perceiving that action as the wrong way to deal with it, but it could be that it is the right way to deal with it but the death rates are unavoidable.

With us taking an opposite view let's hope we don't end up actually envying how Spain and Italy did.
