Cancelling sky sports

Nightmare to phone up, i did my cancellation by email and got a phone call back (cancelled because i was moving). Then i stopped the direct debit then they sent me a nasty email telling me they had charged me £10 for a late payment, they aint getting a penny, i have the phone call recorded. Cheeky bstards and i hope loads of people cancel soon.

when you look at the huge amount you pay for something to come down a cable  it does make you wonder

I've never had Sky - I'm anti-Murdoch.

Those companies who went through the country laying underground cables did not pay up, every time they were handed a bill for all the electric cables they damaged during their cable laying they went bust and started a new company the following week.

virgin and sky both disgusting outfits ...would love to see them collapse but it won't happen

don't understand the depopulation conspiracy? surely they wouldn't ban mass gatherings and shut down cities and countries if they wanted that?

Sky could indeed take a big hit, think they have around 11 million subscribers, but not sure how many of those are tied up with broadband and phone too. Without premier league not sure who would continue to pay so much a month, best to cancel your direct debit online as if you phone they'd only haggle with you for a cheaper deal but what's the point with zero sport and no start date. I'd imagine most are better off just using NOW tv anyway.

back in the early 70s we had something similar  via  'small is beautiful'  and subsequent books and philosophy
