Report SontaranStratagem March 15, 2020 4:19 PM GMT
That's because they have gone from a warm temp to a sudden damp/cold one

You get colds from the radiator heat, sit near a radiator for 2 hours and then go outside in the damp/cold air and you'll get a runny nose etc

Sudden temp changes effect our bodies differently
Report thegiggilo March 15, 2020 4:20 PM GMT
Hope you havn't done the roasters..
Report Coachbuster March 15, 2020 4:21 PM GMT
I will say sonto that this virus will simply bounce off most people   ...  but it's the few who are vulnerable  ,some putting themselves at risk .

saw some old dears on the bus  yesterday ..what  are they thinking ?

for them this will be a Chernoybyl type situation if people aren't careful
Report SontaranStratagem March 15, 2020 4:21 PM GMT
We breath in the particles the radiators give off

And then a sudden temp change messes around with our balance

Bodies react to big changes in temp, that's why you don't run a cold shower when you have a fever and burning up ffs, you stay in one room with the temp remaining what its set at
Report Coachbuster March 15, 2020 4:22 PM GMT
Sontan .it's not really that cold here though  ...
Report SontaranStratagem March 15, 2020 4:22 PM GMT

Report Coachbuster March 15, 2020 4:28 PM GMT
usually but rarely gets cold enough now in England  so certain things will thrive
Report SontaranStratagem March 15, 2020 4:28 PM GMT
Shortness of breath I've had all through winter because of constantly getting a blocked nose

Struggle to breath properly when the nasal passage is buggered

1TP it does if it doesn't attach itself to a human host, our body temps keep it alive and then our immune system goes to work, the fever is our immune system attacking the bug/virus whatever it is that's invaded
Report Coachbuster March 15, 2020 4:29 PM GMT
Sonts  , you have a reason then ...but unexplained shortness ?
Report SontaranStratagem March 15, 2020 4:30 PM GMT
Our first line of defence is our nose hair trapping it, if people pluck their nose it makes it through and into our throat, thus causing the caugh as we try to dispel it out the mouth

Then if it get further down our immune system is triggered and off it goes into action

Ashtma coach? if you've got asthma you'll suffer worse shortness of breath with the nose only being half clogged
Report SontaranStratagem March 15, 2020 4:31 PM GMT

listening to evidence, story,s of people who,ve had it here and other country,s and recovered think government ,experts might regret leading people up the garden path regards getting mild flu like symptons, evidence suggests there much worse so people will be scared and fill the dr,s,hospital,s etc worried they've got it bad
Report SontaranStratagem March 15, 2020 4:33 PM GMT
The fever is the best feeling you can have, it means the body is onto it

As long as it doesn't get to dangerous temps
Report SontaranStratagem March 15, 2020 4:34 PM GMT

Report SontaranStratagem March 15, 2020 4:42 PM GMT
Up to 35 now

See how its only going up in a really controlled manner

My guess is it'll stop at around 1000/2000, that's a nice number for them to then be able to pass off as legit, if it gets to high they might have to present evidence of such number but then again maybe not

1TP expect no symptoms or only one or two and then it passes

We are almost out of flu season, and it coincides with their "peak" duration as well... MischiefMischief

thats a good point, if someone is in hospital slowly dying and contact coronvirus which accelerates their death, assume its classed as a death from coronavirus but ultimately the person was dying anyway. the death is added to tally.

This is just more odd by the day.

BBC headline - 200k worldwide cases. WRONG. They have no idea, Could be 10 times that number, meaning the death rate is very low.

‘People dead because of Coronavirus’. WRONG. It’s Covid-19, a specific Coronavirus. Coronaviruses are quite common. Also wrong that the virus is solely responsible for deaths. It triggers death in already (predominantly) old and sick people. It no doubt causes pneumonia which is the cause of death in many cases.

Flu and other respiratory problems trigger bigger health issues. They can be the precursor to death, not the actual cause.

Just to back up this confusion which reigns, I found this from America:

While the new coronavirus ravages much of China and world leaders rush to close their borders to protect citizens from the outbreak, the flu has quietly killed 10,000 in the U.S. so far this influenza season.

At least 19 million people have come down with the flu in the U.S. with 180,000 ending up in the hospital, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

“In the U.S., it’s really a fear based on media and this being something new,” Dr. Jennifer Lighter, hospital epidemiologist at NYU Langone Health, said of the new coronavirus. “When in reality, people can take measures to protect themselves against the flu, which is here and prevalent and has already killed 10,000 people.”
