Catch it now so you are cured and immune by then and can enjoy it in safety? FYI Travel insurers are now putting in "we'll have **** all to do with covering anything caused by Coronavirus in any way" clauses, including retrospectively to existing policies.
Hmm. So you are saying that if cruises/holidays are cancelled due to virus, travel insurance companies won't pay out on existing policies?

"Hmm. So you are saying that if cruises/holidays are cancelled due to virus, travel insurance companies won't pay out on existing policies? "Depends when booked. The WHO rolled out Private Frazer for it's announcement that "we're all doomed!!!" 11th March. So for example insure and go will not cover anything booked after that date if it's affected by coronavirus.https://www.insureandgo.com/help/coronavirusOP's post is 8th March so he should be OK.
In other words you are now saying that travel insurance companies will pay out on existing policies?

If booked before that date in that case, but it'll vary depending on insurer.I think once you've had "fair warning" things are bolloxed (and unless you live under a rock you have), they have a getout.
I don't get it. You are claiming that some insurers will pay out but others won't on existing policies?
