DA is one of many reasons why the Labour party fared so badly at the general election.She has been a laughing stock (and rightly so) for many years and Corbyn must have been deaf,blind and stupid not to have realised that fact.
Not really. She is in the current Shadow Cabinet. She does not want to be in the new one. It is more like ... hmm ... flummoxed by the lack of old players in the current England team. Anway, Diane Abbott is 66 years old so will presumably be 70 by the time of the next election.
Wikipedia for current age 66 + 4 for complete guess as to when next election will be.

Really Dianne Abbott should have retired a decade or so back. She used to be sharp and witty, even if (like most of us) you disagree with her politics, but recent years have seen a marked decline. I hope it is not the onset of dementia.
