DA is one of many reasons why the Labour party fared so badly at the general election. She has been a laughing stock (and rightly so) for many years and Corbyn must have been deaf, blind and stupid not to have realised that fact.
|
|
By:
Not really. She is in the current Shadow Cabinet. She does not want to be in the new one. It is more like ... hmm ... flummoxed by the lack of old players in the current England team. Anway, Diane Abbott is 66 years old so will presumably be 70 by the time of the next election.

|
By:
Did Dianne give you those age calculations?
|
|
By:
Wikipedia for current age 66 + 4 for complete guess as to when next election will be.
|
|
By:
I don't doubt your calculations. Was just having a laugh at Dianne's maths which she is renowned for.
|
|
By:
Really Dianne Abbott should have retired a decade or so back. She used to be sharp and witty, even if (like most of us) you disagree with her politics, but recent years have seen a marked decline. I hope it is not the onset of dementia.

The signs weren't good when she wore two left shoes the other week.

we have dawn butler to take her place, so do not worry nothing much will change.

The expert on giraffes

Butler is even more lightweight, and very similar profile to "chicken" Corbyn eg an officer of GMB Union, and educated at Waltham Forest College - no qualification listed. She claimed full allowance of £23k for a 2nd home; £2k for new central heating; appointed a Mr Watson as an LGBT/advisor; accepted a gift of £14k for a trip to LA for herself and a member of staff from Mr Watson.
Compare to Ms Abbott she's much less educated, and greedy. |

Cant stand the woman, however she actually looks ill to me, somewhere down the line we may hear more reasoning behind this decision.
|

By:
Dreadful person with a massive chip on both shoulders, only in the cabinet because she's an ex girlfriend of Silly B0ll0cks Corbyn,
totally out of her depth, in whatever job she'd had, i wouldn't have her working as a shelf stacker in Lidl |

social medias most bullied person
I feel for woman dealing with hate daily and accepting it as normal the woman has helped many people and led the way for many ethnic women in politics , just a sahme she isn't perfect like us eh |

If you are a person in a high position in a shadow cabinet and you come out with absolute bollox, I think you deserve ridicule.
No-one asked her to be politician. |

Like lammy her constant use of the race card has been counter productive & inflammatory.

By:
All credit to her, she has got herself a decent job and salary with little responsibility. Very shrewd.

The House Of Commons is a gravy train for the deceptively intelligent and openly-moronic. No prize for guessing which is more prevalent and in which political Party. Nevertheless, it's a free-for-all to abuse unless excessively stupid and greedy eg former Peterborough MP or the MP employing her convicted druggie son as chief-of-staff at £43k per annum.

"think the boy got mental health issues"
Private schooling the the Golden highway of the Civil Service, and looks like Odd shoes will be bailing him out going forward |

a bit like bobby charlton saying he won’t play in England’s next international.
Brilliant analogy. She should never have been given a position in the the Shadow Cabinet. It was way above her capabilities. |

What's happened to Ms Oona King? She was a credit to the Labour Party, and with no chip on her shoulder.

By:
lost her seat and got elevated to the lords like a great many politicians the public have booted out. that's democracy for you
|
|
By:
Oh! I'm surprised considering the present dimwits Labour Party MPs aplenty. Was she a victim of a similar "Corbynite" spanking in that election?

I wonder if Margaret Moran has recovered from her mental health issues.

The greedy one who was too mentally incapable to even plea. Probably miraculously got better post her trial (in her absence).
