I assume Ed got fed up of living in the USA and doing the same thing day in day out.
he had said previously that the new producers wanted to reduce the stuff in the workshop down to reduce filming costs and he wasn't happy about it
On 21 March 2017, China announced on his YouTube channel that he was departing Wheeler Dealers due to disagreements over the direction of the programme.
Six days later, in another video, China described how Brewer had telephoned him over the weekend saying that he, his wife and his daughter, were receiving significant online abuse, including death threats, because of China's leaving the show.

Episode on Quest earlier where Ed changed the springs on a Pacer to lower the stance.
He stated that you should NEVER cut the springs as you will not be able to reproduce the flat surface at the top.
However, cutting springs is a regular trick for the Fast and Loud boys.
Are they putting death traps on to the roads

The world is going mental. Brewer his wife and daughter getting death threats. It's just sick. It's only a car show ffs.
The world has always been mental
Social media merely facilitates the masses to display their mentalness

I know China went on you tube to whinge and moan about the way he was treated when let go by the shows makers.
Hardly a whinge and moan ......

China holds the Guinness World Record titles for the fastest shed, toilet, bed, milk float and the largest motorised shopping trolley, among other things.
In 2007, owing to his record attempts, China was featured in a number of programmes, including Fifth Gear, Pulling Power and This Morning, showcasing his creations.
In 2012, China, and driver from the BTCC, Tom Onslow-Cole, were part of an eBay sponsored challenge, to convert a milk float into a drag racer, which then achieved a place in the Guinness World Records, for the world's fastest milk float.

Mike's the one throwing rocks in the third of those videos
China showing us amateurs how to fix things has always been the best part of the show for me.
I performed extremely well in an online mechanical quiz, the knowledge that was needed to do so was all obtained from watching Ed China and Aaron Kaufman
