Look, I've always been against these things and have taken the piss out of those who use them....
but, I have got my wallet, my phone, my keys, my loose change and in recent years, my glasses. And I have only got 4 pockets in my jeans and glasses aren't ideal for keeping in a jeans pocket anyway. Mrs H has said for ages for me to get a manbag and I have refused, but now she has bought me one. Seems a hell of a palaver. Do you wear over or under a coat? I hate carrying anything e.g. a backpack because I's scared of leaving it in the pub or somewhere.
I live in the midlands, which is bad enough, but I am going up north next month. Am I likely to get gay-bashed?
I remember a kid coming to school with a briefcase some dozy aunt gave him for Christmas. Imagine the poor fecker - in Liverpool of all places.
That’s you that is.

A manbag is just plain wrong on every single level imaginable. I go to the North East 2 or 3 times a year and not once have I seen a Geordie with a man bag. Don't do it!

Worse if you go 'darn sarth' as you will get "gay bashed" for not being!
I have two card/paper money wallets, that can also hold a phone!
With one, the phone is a permanent fixture, but the other is demountable, so you have the option....

Strictly speaking, all a gentleman should need to be carrying around his person is his door key and a couple of grand in twenties. The latter is of course carried in the inside pocket of the gentleman's jacket, and should be forgotten about once the jacket is returned to its hanger. This is in order to ensure a pleasant surprise at some indeterminate point in the future.
Small change is unnecessary, and any acquired should be dispensed as tips.
Mobile phones, credit cards and wallets are simply middle-class affectations.

I have a super pair from "Next" that have six pockets, and the ones at the back are extra deep, for security.....
Wear your glasses on your head, and look a pratt like most others!
Hook your glasses on your shirt, or in your shirt pocket....
Hang your keys from your belt...
Perm any combination of these, and you could end up with spare jeans pockets, to put your hands in!
Get a "Bum-Bag" which, as far as I know, doesn't label you as gay!
Ok...let's be objective....Next time get jeans with more pockets!I have a super pair from "Next" that have six pockets, and the ones at the back are extra deep, for security.....Wear your glasses on your head, and look a pratt like most others!Hook y

The words of a gentleman! Well said unfortunately I am middle class and too poor not to carry around three separate property keys, work keys and definitely too poor not to carry a mobile phone although I do aspire to be a gentleman. One day I will have a jam boy when I play golf
