LFC - "Yes I had thought of votes for women blackburn, thats progress if you wish to vote you should be allowed to.......
You obviously hadn't thought of it when you posed the question. Are you as dim as you appear? |

I spent some time in Norway last year, and it is the most friendly, welcoming, and tolerant country I have ever visited.
Most of its oil revenues have been ploughed back into social care, and it cares for its people more than any other European country. But for how long? For a group to have gone to these extremes, you have to think that the government have crossed a line In pushing its “all welcome” policy too far, |

blackbarn replying with his usual abuse.

Crippen - As many know on here, abuse is not my usual weapon. My "dim" comment was based on his ridiculous response to the simple answer I gave to the simple question he posed. This is below and not difficult to understand!. I have to say that his inability to distinguish between an ebony coloured farm building and a Lancashire football club does little to dilute my view. Hope you are well.

I will reserve judgement on this until I see what the BBC have to report on the matter.
|
|
By:
Why should the bbc report on it? Russia borders Norway, so reasonable at a stretch for RT to be reporting.

"Divide and Rule" who came up with that one dave-it sure works.
|
|
By:
"Divide and Rule" is what's happening in the Arab world eg Iraq and Syria to name two. The only way to weaken "unfriendly" country.

I think 5he House of Saud was worried by the rise of the Clerics in ‘79 impossible
They got a shock that year with an armed assault at Mecca and feared the Clerics would turn against them. It is interesting though that Iran and Venezuela both have oil |

"Living in a Christian society a few hundred years ago, even 200 years ago would not seem all that different to living in an Islamic country today from the point of view of personal freedoms, blasphemy, attitudes to women, draconian punishment for even relatively minor offences, sexual deviancy from the approved norm and just about everything else."
The key point is blasphemy. Had Charles Darwin's ground breaking 1859 book, The Origin Of The Species, been published in Saudi, Iran, Pakistan and several other modern islamic countries today, he'd likely face the death penalty imo. |
|
By:
Darwin faced a lot of problems dude
Had he printed it 50 years earlier he may well have been put to death! Look at Dave’s earlier post about Capital Offences |
|
By:
Crimes eligible for the death penalty included shoplifting and stealing sheep, cattle, and horses, and before abolition of the death penalty for theft in 1832, "English law was notorious for prescribing the death penalty for a vast range of offences as slight as the theft of goods valued at twelve pence.

TRASH SEND THEM ALL BACK Greek locals accuse migrants of trying to 'Islamize the western world' and say they are destroying their tourist industry as anger builds over refugee camps The government is locked in a tug of war with local communities over migrants There's over 38,000 people in camps on Lesbos, Samos, Chios, Leros and Kos 300 protesters marched against plans to house asylum-seekers in Makrygialos |
|
By:
I can understand the Greek's concern over us....tourism is important to Greece
The Greek government should move them |

As I have posted before too many times probably...if the West had stayed out of the Middle East from 1990's on this may not be happening
We destabilised those countries, they don't like us much.....now they live among us...very poor show |
