Huge interest from the "straights" on here on what has to be a fairly minor bit of news. Judging by some of the questions, perhaps a technical thread on process is required for those below (geddit!!) with an interest in the subject.

Well, it's the morning after and the official line hasn't changed, so Phillip Schofield is still gay.
I left my algorithms on last night to 'Showbiz **** Crunch' and this morning it's thrown up three surprise suspects in the programmes quarantine bay. Velma from Scooby Doo, Tinky Winky, and the Starfish from Spongebob Squarepants. It's put me in a dilemma, but i've told my kids just in case. |

I didn't know who he was until this came out as I don't watch the sort of **** that he presents. Is he benefiting from the BBC propaganda tax or does he work for a commercial channel?

Utterly ludicrous that this tawdry story has been presented as heroically brave, almost requiring a national celebration. Maybe there's still time to get him nominated for a ITV "Heroes of Britain" award?
Would such a story have been received and presented so joyously if, for example, a man admitted that he had been carrying on with other women for 27 years? I think not. I feel very sorry for the wife and daughters. |

Nobody seems to mention the strange comment from holly willoughby near the end of the interview when she asked " Are you now looking forward to new relationships". Forget the fact he is married, just leave the old bint behind the ironing board and pop down to bubbas bath house or wherever for a bit of hows your father. Obviously the two are friends so Holly must know the marriage is a complete sham to even ask a married man regardless of whether he is gay or not if they are now pursuing new relationships. I'm not religious or pro marriage particularly, but it's a complete joke
